FEATURED BUSINESS PROFILE - Sydney

Part of our targeted growth and operational strategy for this year was to break into the expanding infrastructure market, attract global infrastructure / tunnelling clients and become a key supplier within the HV temporary power as well as permanent works markets in Sydney.
Through our highly skilled personnel, quality products and history of previous projects delivered all across Australia, we have hit the ground running already securing key long-term contracts there.
“We are proud of our achievements and feel this is a perfect time to join this market. We not only have the opportunity to present our highly skilled workforce to this industry, but we also have the opportunity to build up our asset base and show new markets what we are capable of” General Manager, Scott Bell stated.
One of the contracts within a major tunnelling project in Sydney involves the installation, termination and testing of 33kV cabling ranging from 50mm2 up to 500m2. There is approximately 12km of cable to install and around 215 terminations. We also have 10km of fibre optic cable to install and terminate throughout the tunnel.
Another project, also within this market, involves building fourteen (14) various sized 11 / 0.415kV substations which will be hired over a certain period of the project.
Pictured below, leading the way are our first Sydney based employees (from left to right) Michael Browne (Business Manager), Ryan Hawkings (Project Manager) and Mark Wetten (Senior Estimator) standing outside our new Workshop and Cable Repair Facility in Silverwater. This facility has been set up for us to be able to support our valued clients and products on the projects we have been awarded so far, and all our new clients into the future.
