We have been increasing our number of female apprentices year on year over the last few years and now have 5 out of our current total of 20 apprentices Australia wide. We are proud of this number as only 4.6% of all new electrical apprenticeships offered in 2020 were to women.

When you start as an apprentice with JTMEC you generally begin in the manufacturing workshop and rotate through the cable repair shop, pump workshop and then site projects.

We are very lucky to have such a fantastic group of employees working for us, and look forward to interviewing and welcoming next year’s intake!
